Ralph “Ted” White, CFP®

Principal, Financial Planner

As a planner at the firm, Ted serves as a trusted guide to help clients reach their various goals. In his role as principal, Ted is working to grow our fee-for-service model so that we can help more clients gain access to expert professional advice at a transparent price.

Ted entered the financial services industry in 1999, first working in municipal bonds. While this was a great onramp to the industry, the clientele were mainly large institutions. Ted had a desire to work with individual clients and feel like he was making more of a real impact. His transition to financial planning happened to coincide with his move to the Pacific Northwest in 2006, and he never looked back.

Ted was able to gain great experience by working for two highly-regarded wealth management firms in the greater Seattle area. After getting a better feel for the financial planning industry, he was intrigued by the fee-for-service model that Goddard Financial Planning provides. While Ted works with clients in all stages of life, his current focus is working with clients who are within 10 years of retirement. This includes guiding them to the mountain top (end of career), as well as down the other side of the mountain (retirement years).

Ted resides in Wedgwood with his wife and two children.
