Tara Clark

Associate Financial Planner

Tara joined Goddard Financial Planning in 2020, after a decade as a software engineer, working for many big industry players, including Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and BlackBerry. She has always loved puzzles, math, and spreadsheets, surprising none of her friends and family with her career change.

It was important to Tara to work for a firm that matches her values and charges clients in the same way she would want to pay for financial planning. Goddard’s team and fee-for-service approach to planning drew Tara in and she’s enjoyed working with our variety of clients so far.

Tara supports the existing planners in the firm by preparing for meetings, taking notes, pulling together clients’ data, drafting spreadsheets, and sharing her love of keyboard shortcuts. She looks forward to the opportunity of working directly with clients and impacting people’s lives in a meaningful way.
